Almost lost to Italy, Spain blame the grass field


There is always a factor 'scapegoat' whenever there was something wrong and that principle is used after almost losing Spain and Italy drew 1-1 in their opening match in Group C Euro 2012.



Spanish goalscorer, Cesc Fabregas scored his team can assess more when the stadium in Gdansk was dry and impede the flow of the ball.

"It is unfortunate that in the era such as we have to play with field conditions like that," he told Football Italia.

Spain coach Vicente del Bosque also assess the field conditions are too dry to make the appearance of La Furia Roja no maximum.



"Golf is not watered properly and it's not a good thing for football or sports spectacle," said Del Bosque.
